AlphaPix Evolution Network Disconnects When Used With FPP Falcon Pi Player

When using Falcon Pi Player software version 6.x or higher to drive E131 data to an AlphaPix Evolution CPU based Flex controller system, the AlphaPix Evolution may experience periods of network disconnection requiring restart of the AlphaPix. This is a result of high levels of ICMP traffic (PINGs) from the FPP against the AlphaPix Evolution. This ICMP traffic combined with the E131 overwhelm the smaller CPU and network stack on this controller. The solution is to turn off monitoring, which does not affect the functionality of the controller or show. UNCHECK the boxes shown below for MONITOR and then click Save. This problem does not apply to HinksPix PRO or AlphaPix Classic controllers.
