Updating Firmware on HolidayCoro HinksPix PRO Controllers Using an SD Card

This page contains instructions on how to update the firmware on a HinksPix PRO V1, V2 and V3 controller.
  1. NOTE:  To remove an SD card from the HinksPix PRO, press the SD Card IN and the card will then pop out and it can be removed.  DO NOT pull on the SD card until it has "popped out".
  2. Items needed to perform the update:
    1. 32GB Micro SD card that is supported, see this article on compatible SD cards

      2. NOTE:  The HinksPix PRO will not read cards over 32GB in size
    2. Micro SD Card to USB Adapter
      1. Typically if you purchased a Hinkspix PRO with an included SD card from HolidayCoro, it will contain a USB A to MicroSD Card Adapter

    3. Computer to download firmware files
  3. Download the firmware from this location:

  4. Copy the firmware to the SD card using these instructions:

  5. Install SD card into HinksPix PRO SD card slot
  6. Reboot controller by pressing the RESET button on the HinksPix PRO CPU
